ExpertThis is the purpose made Maco door lock CTS door hook & roller keep to suit the Maco door lock. The new Maco door locks with roller cams require the upvc striker keep to be combined into the same keep plate as the roller cams are so close to the hook points there is not room to fit seperate keep plates.
This Maco CTS hook roller striker keep is engineered from high strength metal plate and is built to with stand force when fitted with the appropriate screw fixings into reinforced material. The keep plate is also fully adjustable to allow the door sash to be fully sealed onto the outer frame gasket weather seals as required.
The Maco keeps are handed either left or right hand and are always viewed from the outside. Please see the attatched drawing to choose the appropriate keep handing.

1 X Hook roller combined keep to fit 1 X hook roller lock point. (choose either right or left hand to suit)

Fitting tip:
over the years the profile companies have a vested interest in updating and changing the shape of the products every few years to meet the new demands
Once they do this the shape of the keeps become discontinued, as the requirement for them is gone.
To this end the only option is to modify the keeps and or the profile upvc to suit. You can normally do this relatively easy by either removing some of the Upvc up stand with a sharp wood chisel or Stanley knife. Alternatively, you may need to create a bit of a shim / packer to put underneath to give it a flat-bed to sit on. Once you do this and screw it firmly in place it should give you a trouble-free installation.
