ExpertThis is the purpose-made Maco CTS door centre latch and dead bolt striker keep. This Maco CTS latch deadbolt striker keep is engineered from high strength metal plate and is built to withstand force when fitted with the appropriate screw fixings into reinforced material. The keep plate is also fully adjustable to allow the door sash to be fully sealed onto the outer frame gasket weather seals as required.
The Maco keeps are handed either left or right hand and are always viewed from the outside. Please see the attatched drawing to choose the appropriate keep handing (choose either left hand or right hand to suit).
Fixings are sold separately if required. This is because most of the time you will be able to re-use the existing ones, and door profiles can differ greatly so there is no one-size-fits-all option available.
What You Will Receive:
1 X Hook roller combined keep to fit a single (x1) hook roller locking point. Left hand or right hand fitting as chosen by yourself.
Fitting Tip:
Over the years, the profile companies have a vested interest in updating and changing the shape of the products every few years to meet the new demands.
Once they do this, the shape of the keeps become discontinued because the requirement for them is gone.
To this end the only option is to modify the keeps and/or the profile Upvc to suit your requirements. You can normally do this relatively easy by either removing some of the Upvc up-stand with a sharp wood chisel or Stanley knife.
Alternatively, you might need to create a bit of a shim/packer to put underneath to give it a flat-bed to sit on. Once you do this, and screw it firmly in place, it should give you a trouble-free installation.
This is the purpose made Maco CTS door lock centre latch and deadbolt striker keep plate to suit the multipoint lock and provide both the hook and roller cam to lock into place.
