Yale key Wind Operated Composite Door Lock 45mm Backset 20mm Wide Radius Ended Faceplate

- Non handed simply remove the screw in the end of the latch to reverse the handing and re-fasten in place
This 45mm backset Yale door lock is often found on many modern composite doors and is a popular choice of multipoint lock. It has 2 hooks and a cemntre deadbolt lock points 1which are thrown into place by rotating the key / thumb turn cylinder 360 degrees known as a key wind operation. There is no requirement to lift the lever of the door handle and can be unlocked by rotating the key
If externally the door is fitted with no lever handle I:E a fixed pull handle or cylinder pull escutcheon plate then this turns the door into a key holder only external entry as you will need to turn the key slightly to release the latch to enter the property. Therefore when you come home you can simply push the door closed behind you and the dorr will close on the latch only and only a key holder can enter the property, internally you simply pull the lever down to release the door of the latch
