Upvc Window Door Wedge Gasket Weather Draught Seal Rubber Selecta Plastmo W575 profile Match 6mtr coil
This Selecta / Plastmo profile matching wedge type push in weather gasket seal found here is designed and found on many types of early Upvc window and door profiles. The wedge type gasket pushes snugly into the groove in the profile system and when fitted correctly in place will remain in situation for years of trouble free installation. Provides a water tight and draught tight seal to Upvc windows and doors. The advantage of this pvc nylon gasket seal over the old type rubberised gaskets is that it is clean and dry to the touch meaning that it can be easily worked with and used. When used it does not leave a black grimey mark as is common with the old type rubber seals.
The gasket was also used on the once popular Selecta & Plastmo upvc profile systems used throughout the UK window and door industry over the last few decades.

- No migration non slippy to reduce mess and markings
The gasket is sold in 6 metre quantity increments and is shipped as a single, continuous length. 6 metres will generally go around either the opening door or window sash or, alternatively, the outer frame of a standard size Upvc system.
Fitting tip: If struggling with insertion sometimes a light spray with a soapy solution will allow the gasket to be slid home particularly in the corners and tight areas.
