This is the Mantis 1 Millenco 117mm PZ door lock which has x4 roller cams with a centre hook to the gearbox rather than a deadbolt This lock was often used on UPVC doors and was popular in the 1980s and 1990s. This door lock has the same configuration as the later 2 Hook and 2 Deadbolt Mantis 1 Door Lock (our part number 744) but is a 4 Roller Cam option. The centre gearboxes on all the Mantis door locks appear to be removable as they have fixing screw holes. However, this is not the case because the linkage connection points underneath the faceplate are always spot crimped together. They will break these linkages if forced apart. Therefore it is always a full lock replacement when fitting this door lock.
The new door lock comes complete as shown as a full length door lock.
The overall length of the lock face-plate shown (OL: in attached detailed dimensions file) is simply trimmed down at the ends with a hacksaw to suit the length of the door.
