The Maco shootbolt keep is often found on double opening Upvc windows and doors. It is purpose made to accept the shoot bolt ends that fire into the top and bottom of the frame to lock the openers in position. The keep features an Allen key headed adjustment bolt at each end. This allows the keep to move back and forth to increase or release the tension to either, providing a tighter weather seal or smoother use as required.
The keep is universal and can be usen on any profile system or lock mechanism with little or no work. Dependant on the profile used and situation this keep may require packing behind or Upvc upstands triming to shape to suit the various profile systems that are on the market.
