ExpertThis is a purpose made adhesive clear gel glazing tape used to provide a waterproof weather tight seal around the glazing cassettes found on many composite doors.
The glazing tape comes on a 33 metre roll and is 9mm wide X 1mm thick and is double sided adhesive backed. The tape is usually applied to the external cassette but can also be used on the internal cassette.
Fitting: the tape is neatly applied to the two surfaces that the external cassette has. One surface will adhere to the external face of the composite slab whilst the other surface will adhere to the external surface of the glass unit if fitted with one.
