ExpertThis is a purpose-made adhesive clear gel glazing tape used to provide a waterproof weather tight seal around the glazing cassettes found on many composite doors.
The glazing tape comes on a 33 metre roll and is 9mm wide x 1mm thick. It is double sided adhesive backed. The tape is usually applied to the external cassette but can also be used on the internal cassette.
Fitting: The tape is neatly applied to the two surfaces of the external cassette. One surface will adhere to the external face of the composite slab. The other surface will adhere to the external surface of the glass unit if fitted with one.
