ERA Laird Challenger 3D Composite Door Duraflex Upvc White Butt Rebate Door Hinge
This composite door hinge was made specifically to suit the Duraflex Upvc composite door system and the hinge is built for the groove to slip into the eurogroove for that specific profile. The Duraflex composite door system used the profile for the upvc for the outer frame and then built the matching composite door slab to sit inside this rebate using the specific shaped door hinge.

This hinge is universal so when you assemble them, you simply spin them round to fit either the left or right handing of your door.
Pin removal: You will find that one end unscrews (gold grub screw). The opposite end is not a screw - it is the full length hinge pin. It will go around and around if you turn it with the allen key (it works against the grub screw for left to right adjustment).
To lift the hinge, remove the bottom cover cap and turn the allen key anti-clockwise to wind the thread in. N:B You will need to do all the hinges by the same amount to move the door slab otherwise the other hinges will hold it in same place. We suggest one full reveloution at a time. Make sure the 2mm silver grub screw on the side is not holding in the pin (used for open out doors to stop pin being forced out). Then take a pair of long nose pliers and grab hold of the end of the gold grub screw. With some force pull the pin it will come out in one piece.
