Veka Matrix Weather Bubble Seal Black Rubber Low Aluminium Disability Threshold Door Gasket
This Veka Matrix specific purpose made under residential door low disability type threshold black draught gasket is used to replace the worn out or damaged gaskets commonly found on the Veka doors that have been fitted with a low aluminium metal wheelchair access threshold. The gasket is unique and made to firmly slide onto the metal strip fixed under the opening door to provide a large bubble type weather seal.
As it is on the bottom of the door it receives a lot of wear and tear and often suffers from becoming torn and flattened therefore not providing a suitable weather tight seal.
By replacing the damaged gasket rubber push in seal will help to restore the weather tightness of the bottom threshold seal and will therefore prevent water and weather ingress.
Fitting Tip: The gasket is generally pushed in and inserted into the purpose made groove and will require it feeding into the slot and may need you to push into place onto the arrow head which has serated teeth to firmly hold it in place.
This gasket is not an open source product however as an approved supplier we have ready available stocks ready to dispatch to both the DIY person or trade installer.
Sold in 1 metre increments of gasket which is usually long enough to do a standard sized single residential door. Should you need a longer length then simply order 2 number and we will cut it at a 2mtr continious length and so on up to a 50mtr length.
