Please note that in some earlier versions of door locks the deadbolt used was slightly thinner by approximately 2mm. If this is the case then you may find that you need to file the slot on the faceplate and make it wider to allow for the new replacement gear box.

This is the ERA Laird Saracen Surelock UPVC door lockcase gearbox that suits the full length Saracen ERA or Surelock UPVC door lock, as well as some Cego door locks. It is also a suitable component for UPVC Composite door locks and Timber multipoint door lock mechanisms.
