ExpertThis is the popular Trojan offset window lock that is widely used on many aluminium window systems found in the UK market. The window lock has been made with an offset slim gearbox which is purpoesly set to the outer edge of the faceplate so that it can be neatly routed as a slimline 6.5mm slot into the aluminium profile extrusion without breaking into any drainage chambers and also maintaining the structural integrity.
The Mustang window lock also features twin locking mushroom cams that lock together to provide a secure and robust lock point into the purpose made frame keeps.
The window lock is handed either left or right handed and can be easily determined by observing the handing image in our listing, alternatively if the window lock is removed you can find a letter stamped on the reverse of the faceplate near to the gearbox L = left hand R = Right hand.
