ExpertThe door sash plate now provided can be exchanged for the existing one in situ if you so wish or yours is to suit the specific shape of your Upvc profile. The new classic 2D hinge sash plate is to suit a 90 degree door sash and has been rounded to offer a more pleasing aesthetic finish than the older straight edged version, however does exactly the same job.
You may also find that on the older door hinges the threaded pin was at the very top of the hinge whereas the new one is the other way round. This was changed round by SFS who decided that by doing so it offered more adjustment and increased security, this does not affect your existing drilled holes and will fit and work exactly the same.
This listing does not include any fixing screws. Most often you will be able to reuse the ones from your existing hinge and the size required can vary from situation to situation.
