This WEL Mila Hinge sidewinder provides some adjustment via eccentric cams that allows the hinge to move the door sash left and right by approx. 2mm, hence the name sidewinder hinge. This suits double glazed doors for Upvc. It fits onto the chamfered angled edge of door sash 45 degree angle, which was often used on Upvc profiles such as Rehau, which had a more prominent chamfer than many other Upvc profiles. Sometimes it is called a pencil door hinge for Upvc doors and was widely supplied by Mila at one time.
