Note that side hung hinges should only use the 12 inch or 16 inch stays. All other sizes are for top hung application only (the 12 inch or 16 inch sizes can be used for either operation)
12 Inch = Max 60 degree opening max vent. Width: 1200mm. Height: 550mm. Weight 22KG. If side hung then 600mm X 1300mm vent size
16 Inch = Max 60 degree opening max vent. Width: 1200mm. Height: 750mm. Weight 24KG. If side hung then 700mm X 1300mm vent size

24 Inch = Max 38 degree opening max vent. Width: 1200mm. Height: 1200mm. Weight 35KG
You will find many different types of friction hinges fitted as UPVC window hinges. As long as the replacement pair is of the same length, the same width of track and the same stack height as the original hinges, then they will suit the window and will work. Always refit both hinges as this will ensure a smooth operation as well as ensuring that the openers geometry is correct.
Fixings are not included.

The Nico Universal Restrictor Stay 13mm Stack Height is a top quality, heavy duty product that is suitable for top or side hung opening window styles. Restrictor hinges restrict opening window to approx 100mm to provide a child safety feature. Restrictor can be over ridden by depressing button to allow for a full opening. N:B these are 13mm stack height if you think you may need a 17mm stack height we suggest the 4mm packers which you can se a link to near the bottom of the page here.
