You will find many different types of friction hinges fitted as UPVC window hinges. As long as the replacement pair is of the same length, the same width of track and the same stack height as the original hinges, then they will suit the window and will work. Always re-fit both hinges as this will ensure a smooth operation as well as ensuring that the openers geometry is correct.
The Nico Universal Restrictor Stay 13mm Stack Height is a top quality, heavy duty product that is suitable for top or side hung opening window styles. Restrictor hinges restrict opening window to approx 100mm to provide a child safety feature. Restrictor can be over ridden by depressing button to allow for a full opening.
