Note 1: The keeps are now silver chromated finish to comply with the EU heavy metals and removal of dangerous chemicals legislation.
Note 2: Sometimes the baseplate is not used, for example timber or low rebate upvc systems applications.
A Mila tongue espag striker keep, this 2 part keep is used to suit the Mila tongue window lock rod and is very popular on fully reversible windows. Sometimes found on pivot and top swing UPVC windows and also used for timber window lock striker keeps (the base plate often discarded).
