Maco Rail Reach Low Reach Disability Window Handle Height Upvc Lock Rod 20mm and 22mm Backset Options GR3 GR4 GR5
- Backset: 22mm. Note that the 20mm backset version is no longer available. However, by opening the 3 handle holes by only 1mm this can be easily accomodate in most situations.
- Gearbox Mounted: Inline. However, the gearbox is purposely set 185mm from the bottom of the lock to the spindle centre so that the handle is at a low height that can be reached and operated by users with a disability.
- Faceplate: 16mm flat
- Length: 600mm to 1000mm. GR3 is 600mm, GR4 is 800mm, and GR5 is 1000mm
- Locking Point Type: Mushroom 7.7mm high
- Number of Locking Points: GR3 has 2 (4 cams total) whereas GR4 and GR5 have 3 (6 cams total).
- The new lock cams have an Allen key hole in them. When you turn it, it will move the cams in and out approximately 1-2mm to adjust the window compression.
- The gearboxes are stamped Maco BS22 (meaning 22mm backset). If the lock has BS20 stamped on it then it is a 20mm backset. Note that the 20mm backset lock is no longer available. However, by opening the 3 handle holes by only 1mm this can be easily accomodate in most situations.
