ExpertThe Maco MKV has been developed with a universal backset for a one size fits all 21mm Backset. Maco have been very clever by reducing the overall depth of the gearbox so that it will fit into profile systems that could only accomodate a 20mm backset whilst also been able to achieve the same with a 22mm backset. This means you do not need to worry about your old backset dimension as it will fit either.
It has also been created to allow you to fit it easily and has all the fixing points on the same front face so no awkward trying to put a screw in round the corner of the sash. The lock is easily set up and put in place and auto sets the shootbolt cam height to suit your window.
The new window lock can easily replace the old Maco Mspag telescopic window lock which is now obsolete and can also be used to replace the even older MK1 & Mk2 seperate centre gearboxes and shootbolt rods if you so wish.
Fitting Tip: The window lock comes set in the locked shootbolt out postion and you simply pull the ends out to wrap round the edges of your opener then push both corners snuggly inwards to set the correct length and screw the top and bottom fixing screw in place. Next drop the handle on in the locked postion and the remaining fixing screws, once you operate the handle for the first time it will release the loced postion and also set the shootbolt ends in the optimum postion.

GR1 SRS = 500mm - 576mm
GR2 SRS = 577mm - 728mm
GR3 SRS = 729mm - 1032mm
GR4 SRS = 1033mm - 1336mm
GR5 SRS = 1337mm - 1640mm
