ExpertThe shoot bolt rods have been made to suit the popular flush sash Upvc window systems, now made and specified throughout the UK. The rods are designed to allow the opening window sash vent to be able to still achieve a sligtly open night vent facility for ventilation whilst still been securely locked into the window frame. The rods are generally used with the Maco Mach 2 window lock gearbox (our part numbers 1140-2187).
The dimensions of the rods shown above are the overall opening sash vent length including both extension rods when connected to the gearbox. This is not the actual rod lengths. Always measure the overall length of the rods including the centre gearbox when fitted into the window and in open position from bolt end to bolt end. This is the size range required.
Fixing screws are not included and must be purchased an additional part if required.
