This is the Maco CTS door lock range with the unique 24mm and 16mm combined "top hat" type faceplate built with a 45mm backset to also suit timber and composite doors. The design of the faceplate allows the door lock to fit into both a standard 16mm Upvc eurogroove. The wider plate ensures it covers all routing detail whilst also providing a stronger door lock with no movement.
This door lock was widely used by Sash UK on their residential door lock range and provided throughout the UK market however this lock has a 45mm backset so has also been used on timber and composite door systems as the lock of choice.
The door lock is fitted with high security hook bolts and additional heavy duty finger bolts to ensure the door leaf is pulled in tightly to the outer frame once operated. The centre gearbox has a split spindle.
