In some cases the old style hook boxes may be set approx 40mm higher at top and bottom The new lock will simply require the routed hole extending to let the hook boxes into the door sash and the same with the hook keep boxes on the frame, the centre gear box will fit in the same place without any work, alternatively you can change the centre gearbox mechanism as this is usally the only part that fails and the existing lock should be back in working order following this.
