ExpertThis Kommerling gold profile match bubble gasket can also be used to suit Deceunick composite door systems as the rigged type gasket creates an additional enhanched weather performance seal. This retro-fit large purpose made bubble gasket has been purpoesly designed to suit the Kommerling gold profile & has also been found to provide a soloution for the widely used Deceunick composite residential door systems fitted. This gasket is fitted to the purpose made shoe port to allow the gasket to sit round the whole of the opening sash and also the same for upvc window systems so that when the opening door or window sash closes into the frame and the large flexible bubble type seal with purpose made ridges neatly seal up and ontothe outer frame and composite door slab creating an increased weather seal to ensure that any water of air will not pass and ensures the window or door openers achieve a very high weather performance.
Purpose made to provide a real solution to composite door systems that are suffering with draughts and water ingress due to low / non sealing frame to slab weather seals.
The Gasket is sold in 6mtr increments which is usually enough to do one standard sized door or window opener
The gaskets are sold in 6 metre increment quantitys and is in one continuous length. 6 metres will generally go round either the opening door sash or alternatively the outer frame of a standard size Upvc door system.
Fitting tip: gasket can be neatly cut to size with sharp household scissors. When fitting for best weather performance it is best to start in the middle of the top rail at the top of the door or window as this is normally the least area of water penetration and driving winds so that the bottom of the door or window system is always in one continuous piece. Gaskets can be joined with a discreet blob of superglue which will adhere it together and also to the upvc profile with no detriment.
