Ingenious Door Lock Gearbox Centre Case 35mm Backset 92mm PZ Single Spindle Latch and Hook
This is the single spindle centre gearbox option to fit the new Ingenious door lock. It has been used be many UK fabricators since 2014, when the company launched its product range to the market. The Ingenious door locks are high security with hook and roller locking points to suit both Upvc and composite door systems.
This specific gearbox features a single spindle rather than the more common twin spindle. This door lock gearbox is used where the door fabricator has fitted door handles with the top screw fixing under the lever and therfore needs the lower spindle removing as it would hit this. Instead it has a purpose made screw hole for the handle fixing to pass through.
It is often the centre gearbox only that fails and by replacing this part only you can usually restore the full door lock to full working order quickly and easily.
