ExpertWe have sourced and designed our universal tilt turn drive gear so that it is able to replace the obsolete drive gears for the old Garrant, Roto, GU Aubi, HKS, and Siegenia hardware window locks. These were widely used in the UK but are now obsolete and the stock is no longer available.
The drive gear comes with connectors that have been designed to be compatible with the Garrant, Roto, Aubi, GU HKS, and Siegenia housing connectors. They can connect the corner and the drive gear to restore the window back to full working order.
The Drive gear comes with x2 optional extensions (x1 for each end). This allows it to connect with the corner drive housing connectors only if required. However, in most cases you will not need to use these as the drive gear will be able to fit directly into the corner connector without an issue. These are provided to increase the flexiability of the drive gear so that it is able to be used across a larger range of obsolete hardware that can no longer be sourced. Simply measure and cut the drive gear to length to suit your specific window height with a hacksaw.
