ExpertThis is the full 4 part repair kit to suit the Fullex 2 point patio door lock which was once a very popular Inline patio mechanism fitted to residential properties. However They are no longer manufactured and are now obsolete. The point that usually fails is the centre spindle cam spigot point where the handle levers are operated from as this is the area that does most of the work and eventually stresses and collapses. However it is also possible that the metal rectangular spigot also fails. This spigot has a protruding metal lug that can shear away causing failure and once broken will require replacement. Also the internal little spring that attatches to this can fail again causing a failure.
Working with our suppliers and development team we have been able to source and design the the full internal 4 part kit which includes the centre, the return spring, the rectangle spigot plate and also the sliding lock gear plate all to suit the Fullex inline patio gearbox so that with only a little DIY work you are able to remove the broken parts and replace it with the new ones which has the unique 5mm square spindle hole size, to carry out a successful repair to restore the patio lock to working order.
We always suggest fitting all the new parts at the same time to ensure they are all working and prevents you having to strip the lock back down to fit a new part later.
The gearboxes were either a 21mm backset or 31mm backset and this dimension was always taken from the front of the faceplate to the centre of the square spindle hole and can be easily measured even with the lock fitted to the patio door.
