Eurocell B382 Weather Seal Black Rubber Low Aluminium Disability Threshold Door Gasket
This Eurocell B382 residential door draught gasket is specifically made for low disability type thresholds and is available in black. It can be used to replace the worn out or damaged gaskets commonly found on the Eurocell doors that have been fitted with a low aluminium metal wheelchair access threshold.
Due to it being on the bottom of the door, it receives a lot of wear and tear and often suffers from becoming torn and flattened meaning that it is not providing a suitable weather tight seal.
By replacing the damaged gasket rubber push-in seal it will help to restore the weather tightness of the bottom threshold seal by preventing water and weather ingress.
Fitting Tip: The gasket is generally pushed in and inserted into the purpose-made groove. It will require feeding into the slot and you might need to push the 2 ends together to feed it into the slot and slide the ends in with a blunt instrument as you will not be able slide the gasket in from the end once the door is fitted in place.
Alternatively, you could create a slot cutting towards one end to be able to feed it into the groove if the threshold has been bolted down or is fixed from under the door.
Sold in 1 metre increments of gasket which is usually long enough to do a standard sized single residential door. Should you require a longer length then simply order a quantity of x2 and the length will be cut to a 2 metre continuous length, and so on up to a 50 metre length.
