ExpertThe AF925 flipper upstand type low disability threshold black draught seal gasket can be used to replace the worn out or damaged gaskets commonly found on doors that have been fitted with a low aluminimum metal wheelchair access threshold. As it is fitted to the bottom of the door it suffers from becoming torn and flattened therefore not providing a weather tight seal.
By replacing worn and damaged gasket rubber seals will usually restore the weather tightness of the bottom threshold seal and will help to prevent water and weather ingress. The gasket is pushed in and inserted into the purpose made groove and will require it feeding into the slot and may need you to push the 2 ends together to feed it into the slot and slide the ends in with a blunt instrument as you will not be able slide the gasket in from the end once the door is fitted in place.
Alternatively you could create a slot cutting towards one end to be able to feed it into the groove if the threshold has been bolted down or is fixed from under the door.
Sold in 1 metre increments of gasket which is usually long enough to do a standard sized single residential door. Should you need a longer length then simply order 2 number and we will cut it at a 2mtr continious length and so on up to a 50mtr length.
