Grey Brush Pile Draught Gasket Seal Suits Stormguard Low Threshold Also Composite and Sliding Patio Doors 4.8mm Base 12mm High 6Mtrs
This narrow base 4.8mm wool pile draught gasket with a centre plastic fin can be used to replace the worn out or damaged gaskets commonly found on Stormguard Low Aluminimum threshold & also composite doors Upvc inline sliders and also vertical sliding window frames. The gasket slides into the groove in the profile system and when fitted correctly in place will remain in situation for years of trouble free installation.
Provides a draught tight seal to Upvc windows and doors. The wool pile draught strip gasket is able to be highly compressed therefore enabling it to cover the many different gap seals required to suit the rebate systems that have been used in the double glazing industry over the last 2 or 3 decades and that are now impossible to find the original gaskets for. This is sold in 1 metre increments and will be cut into one continuous length.
All the gaskets shown on this listing are sold in 6 metre quantity increments and will be supplied in a continious length. For example, if you order a quantity of x2 then you will receive 12 metres. A quantity of x3 would be 18 metres and so on

Fitting tip:
If you are retro fitting this gasket then you will need to cut a slot at one end of the profile, about 50mm from the end, and feed the plastic shoe into place. Once you have slid it down the long length, cut the gasket 70mm longer and feed it up the short bit (the 50mm end) and the 20mm extra length. Keep the full gasket tight up to each end if you are worried about it popping out, a tiny blob of superglue on the plastic shoe will hold it in place.
