Stormguard Triplex Seal AM3 Door Threshold Strip Gasket in Black, 2 Metre Extra Long Length
This is a 2 metre long length of the Stormguard Triplex black draught gasket. It can be used to replace the worn out or damaged gaskets commonly found on doors that have been fitted with a low AM3 Stormguard aluminium metal disability threshold.
This listing is for a 2 metre long length of the Triplex seal, rather than the standard 1 metre length. It is for situations such as French doors, or patio bi-fold doors, offering a particularly wide opening. As it is on the bottom of the door, it recieves hard wear and tear from people standing on or catching with their footwear. For this reason it often suffers from becoming torn and flattened, therefore not providing a weather tight seal.
Replacing the worn and damaged Triplex gasket seal will restore the weather tightness of the bottom threshold seal and will help to prevent water and weather ingress. The gasket is pushed in and inserted to the purpose-made groove hard PVC insert. It will require it feeding into the slot. Once pushed home it should create a tight weather seal.
Sold in a 2 metre strip of gasket, which is long enough for a French door or patio bi-fold door.
