Black Stormguard Rear Rubber Door Gasket Seal Suits Trimline Rio Aluminimum Threshold
This Stormguard lip upstand lowline rear facing black draught gasket is often found on doors that have been fitted with a low Stormguard aluminimum metal disability threshold. It can be found hangind downward under the door slab on the bottom of the door so it seals tightly against the frame threshold as it is closed to provide a weather seal. It recieves much wear and tear and often suffers from becoming torn and flattened therefore not providing a weather tight seal.
This gasket is normally found fitted with the front facing trimline gasket our part 3946 and we suggest both gaskets are re-newed and fitted at the same time to achieve maximum weather seal performance.

Replacing the worn and damaged gasket Rio push in seal will restore the weather tightness of the bottom threshold seal and will help to prevent water and weather ingress. The gasket is pushed in and inserted into the purpose made groove and will require it feeding into the slot and may need a slot cutting towards one end to be able to feed it into the groove if the threshold has been bolted down or is fixed from under the door.
Sold in a 1 metre increments of gasket which is long enough to do a standard sized residential door. However, should you require a longer length then simply increase the quantity to 2 and we will cut it in a 2 metre length and onwards.
