Black SW7789 Push in Rubber Gasket Seal Lowline Door Threshold Strip Replacement
This purpose made low disability type threshold black draught gasket SW7789. It can be used to replace the worn out or damaged gaskets commonly found on doors that have been fitted with a low Stormguard aluminimum metal wheelchair access threshold. As it is on the bottom of the door, it recieves much wear and tear and often suffers from becoming torn and flattened, which prevents it from providing a weather tight seal.
Replacing the worn and damaged gasket rubber push in seal will restore the weather tightness of the bottom threshold seal and will help to prevent water and weather ingress. The gasket is pushed in and inserted into the purpose-made groove. It need to be fed into the slot and may need you to push the two ends together to feed it into the slot and slide the ends in with a blunt instrument. You will not be able slide the gasket in from the end once the door is fitted in place.
Alternatively, you could create a slot cutting towards one end to be able to feed it into the groove if the threshold has been bolted down, or is fixed from under the door.
Sold in 1 metre increments of gasket. This is usually long enough for a standard-sized single residential door. If you need a longer length, simply order a quantity of 2 (making a continuous 2 metre length) and so on, up to a 50 metre length.
