ExpertThis AB011 bubble shaped head type gasket & is specifically made to suit the popular Ali bi-fold panoramic sliding door systems once used by the industry such as Deceuninick, Studio Glide, Alu-Tech, Cortizo & Debar systems & creates an additional weather performance seal and is widely used on panoramic slide and folding door systems fitted over the years in the UK domestic and commercial markets.
The AB011 gasket has been designed to suit various folding door heavy duty gaskets fitted to the purpose made shoe port to allow the gasket to sit round the whole of the opening opening framework so that when the sliding or folding bifold door sash closes into the frame it neatly seals up and onto this gasket therefore creating an additional weather seal to ensure that any water of air will not pass and ensures the door openers achieve a very high weather performance.
This gasket has been produced to suit many of the once used Aluminimum bifold door systems that are un-able to be found or gaskets no longer sourced easily and provides a retro fit weather seal solution in particular it suits the Cortizo Debar profile system.

The Gasket is sold in 6mtr increments which is usually enough to do one standard sized door opener section
The gaskets are sold in 6 metre increment quantitys and is in one continuous length. 6 metres will generally go round either the opening door sash or alternatively the outer frame of a standard size Upvc door system.
Fitting tip: gasket can be neatly cut to size with sharp household scissors. When fitting for best weather performance it is best to start in the middle of the top rail at the top of the door or window as this is normally the least area of water penetration and driving winds so that the bottom of the door or window system is always in one continuous piece. Gaskets can be joined with a discreet blob of superglue which will adhere it together and also to the upvc profile with no detriment.
