ExpertSome of the old faceplates were stamped Ferco with a 7mm spindle width.
The overall length of the lock faceplate shown can be trimmed down at the ends with a hacksaw to suit the length of your door.
Note: This is the unique Munster timber GU Ferco door lock with a 70mm PZ that was made specifically to suit their door systems. This door lock and door systems were widely made and sold nationally throughout both the UK, and also Ireland, in the 1980s and 1990s. This door lock for all intents and purposes is the same as the more common GU Ferco 70mm PZ with 4 Rollers. However, this lock has a low height deadbolt which is always located below the door handle as an extra security feature.
This is a full multipoint door locking mechanism as shown on the dimension diagram. The centre gear box and locking points are shown separately in the display images for ease of reference.

This is the GU Ferco Munster Timber door lock with 2 Cams and 1 dead bolt with a 35mm Backset 70mm PZ UPVC Multipoint door lock mechanism. The Munster door lock by GU Ferco has a unique low level security dead bolt that operates below the door handle as an additional security lock point.
