Offset espag locking rod mechanisms are available in various sizes with mushroom or roller locking points.

The are called this because the drive gearbox is located upto the very edge of the underneath of the faceplate on the window lock mechanism, therefore known as offset. These espag mechanisms are sometimes refered to as u-track or u-rail locks.
