Yale Asgard 7025 7026 or 7035 Upvc Door Lock Case Gear Box 35mm Backset Twin Spindle Type (Match / Replacement Model)

This Yale 7025, 7026, or 7035 Asgard door lock case with 35mm backset allows you to use a Lever/Lever handle or a Lever/Pad handle. This lock has a twin spindle. When the lower spindle is used the separate spindle allows the door lock to be locked and unlocked but does not operate the latch on the gearbox from outside without turning the key. The internal handle will operate both the locks and the latch without the need to use the key because it uses the highest (92mm PZ) top one.
You may find that most companies only use the top spindle to operate the door which will then operate exactly the same inside and outside (this is the most common use).
Please note that this lock gearbox replacement will come without the white plastic inserts which were used purely to hold the latch button in place. Yale no longer use this facility on their door locks. However, you can reuse the old existing ones if you wish to do so. Not fitting them will have no detrimental effect to the lock system.
This is a match / replacement model for the original gear box that is now discontiued as a stand-alone part. For the genuine centre gear box you would need to purchase the full length multipoint door locking mechanism since that is the only way to purchase it now.

This is the Yale Asgard 35mm Backset 7025 7026 or 7035 Upvc multipoint door lock mechanism centre case gear box. Quite often used on Composite and timber doors and has a hook lock to the centre rather than a deadbolt. The faceplate was sometimes stamped with 7025, 7026 or 7035 which were all variations of the full length door lock however they all used the same centre gearbox.
