This is the latest GU door lock known as the 3000 Protector range. It a twin spindle version at a 92mm & 62mm PZ and will allow you, if fitted with the correct offset Lever/Pad handles, to allow only key holder acess from the outside.
How Offset Twin Spindle Handles Work:
if you wish to make the external a key holder only access you achieve this by putting offset lever handles on the inside part & this still uses the top spindle (92mm pz) but the external one uses the lower spindle (62mm pz). This lower spindle never retracts the latch instead you have to also turn the key in the cylinder to retract the latch meaning only key holders can enter
So if you come home and open the door once closed no one can enter behind you
GU New Style 3000 protector range door lock case only with a split spindle at 92pz which allows a key only function when fitted with our Fuhr part 2247 spindle pack with a 35mm backset, suits the latest current style version of the GU 3000 protector hook and roller full length multipoint door locks.
