Maco CTS Range 35mm Backset Gear Box Centre Door Lock Case. Split Spindle Suits the Latest Maco Door Locks and also the Flood Defence Storm Door Lock.

This Maco CTS door lock is also widely used on many Upvc doors that are used to create a flood defence water tight sealed door system. The Maco CTS door lock gearbox is used to connect to the wrap round door mechanism linkage gearing which is all driven off the centre gearbox. As this mechanism is so tightly sealed to create a weather proof storm flood door, it produces major load on the central gearbox which can cause it to fail quicker than a normal residential door system.
Note: Maco have launched this latest range of door locks called the CTS lock and these now supersedes their original door locks. The new CTS door lock gearbox is to suit the new full length CTS door locks only.
Please check all the dimensions on the detailed dimension diagram (next to the main display image) and pay particular attention to the screw fixing dimensions as the old version and new version positions are different.
Latch Reversal Instructions: On one side of the gear box there is a black switch (see the photographs for reference if required). Slide the black switch into the up position to release the latch, re-fit the latch in to the required position, and press it back into gear box. It will click into place and the gear box will then be ready for installation.
This part does not include grub screws. You should be able to re-use the existing ones from the gear box you are replacing but if they are required, you will need to purchase them as a separate part.
