Avocet WMS Upvc Replacement Door Lock Trivalent 2 Hook Cam 4 Roller 35mm Backset

- Faceplate Dimension: 16mm. Some older locks were stamped with either Avocet or WMS on the faceplate
- The overall length of the lock faceplate shown is simply trimmed down at the ends with a hacksaw to suit the length of your own personal door.
- This product will accept shootbolts at the top and bottom if required
Note: Avocet made a subtle change to the operation of this lock in 2022. It will affect the operation if you are re-using the existing full length frame keep. The second roller down from the top used to move upwards into the locked position. Now it moves down into the locked position. The top roller continues to move upwards on the new version. We believe that this was designed by Avocet to force people into purchasing a new frame keep to accommodate this change.
Options: If you have the old keep, you can unscrew and remove the roller keep. This will allow the lock to work with the 3 rollers and 2 hooks with no other issues. Alternatively, you could purchase a new two roller keep pack and switch the orientation of the roller keep around to suit the new lock (see our part number 3527) or purchase a new full length matching keep at the same time.

To find the full length door keep to match this multipoint door lock you can search for "Avocet Upvc Door Lock 2 Hook 4 Roller Full Length Keep Left Or Right" (our part number 1783-1784).
Please note that if you have the old Avocet hook locks it is quite easy to spot because they always had a yellow chromated colour finish and you will find that this lock is almost identical. However, the roller cams are in a different position and we suggest that you might need to also choose a full length keep to match this lock and fit it at the same time to create a trouble-free installation.
