ExpertThis is the Avocet ABS Rim Latch Cylinder Anti-bump Door Lock. This rim lock has been developed to suit existing timber doors and also the new composite type doors. The anti-bump profile cylinder uses the same high security technology as the renowned Avocet ABS euro cylinder, which is designed to ensure that if their euro cylinder is attacked, the cylinder blocks access to the internal mechanism of the UPVC door lock by preventing lock snapping, bumping or picking of the lock pins.
The Avocet ABS Rim Latch door cylinder is available in either brass or chrome finishes and it comes complete with a security code card and x3 keys. Without the security code card it is not possible to get extra keys cut from the manufacturer. This means that you can safely lend out your door key in the knowledge that once it is returned there cannot have been any additional keys cut without your knowledge. The new Avocet ABS cylinder is perfect for use on older style timber wooden doors to both replace an existing Yale lock and upgrade the lock security.
It is also possible to get keyed alike rim cylinders. This would have to be ordered as a special order part so please contact us if you wish to purchase keyed alike rim cylinders. We can normally dispatch a keyed alike set within a couple of working days as we receive new stock from Avocet multiple times per week.

Orders for stock items received by 1pm (Mon – Fri, excluding bank holidays and holiday shutdowns) will be dispatched the same day by Royal Mail or Carrier.
